The Inspiration Behind the Name
The name Crowned in Joy Midwifery is rooted in the promise of John 16:21
“When a woman is in labor, she has pain because her time has come. But when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the suffering because of the joy that a person has been born into the world.”

Why This Matters for Your Care
I chose this name because it reflects the sacred rhythm of birth that I have witnessed in over 200 deliveries. Birth is a mountain to climb—it requires strength, endurance, and often a season of intense “travail.” But my mission as your midwife is to walk beside you through that intensity, anchored in the truth that there is an incomparable, God-given joy waiting on the other side.
At Crowned in Joy, we don’t just focus on the clinical outcome; we honor the emotional and spiritual transition of the mother. When you hold your baby for the first time, the “anguish” of labor fades, replaced by a “crown” of peace and the celebration of new life.
